# A Night of Culinary Excellence: ACF Metro Detroit's January Dinner at Carmela Foods

by [Carmela Staff](https://carmelafoods.com/blog/author/carmela-staff) | Feb 5, 2025

On January 27, 2025, Carmela Foods had the pleasure of hosting the American Culinary Federation (ACF) Metro Detroit Area Chapter's monthly meeting at our Fraser, Michigan, facility. The evening was orchestrated by Chef Brent Saputo and the Carmela team, offering a platform for culinary professionals to connect and expand their knowledge.

A highlight of the event was a virtual tour presented by Fairway Packing, providing attendees with an in-depth look into their state-of-the-art facilities and meat processing techniques. This insightful presentation underscored the importance of quality sourcing in the culinary industry.
